Get Screened for Cervical Cancer

At your health care provider’s office or walk-in clinic

Who can get screened?

  • Women 21 years of age and older who have been sexually active
  • Women should have a Pap test every 3 years, however, your health care provider may recommend more frequent testing

Cervical Cancer Screening

  • Cervical cancer screening is done using a Pap test
  • Pap tests find unhealthy changes in the cells of the cervix that may indicate the presence of cervical cancer or precancerous lesions, which can be treated so cancer does not develop
  • Your health care provider can perform a Pap test as part of a general physical exam
